Managing Payments
Payment handling is available from the invoice detail workflow after the invoice has been created.
What You Can Do
- review the current payment status
- register payments against the invoice
- confirm how much remains outstanding
- revisit the invoice later to check if it is fully paid
Typical Flow
- Open the invoice from Documents
- Go to the invoice detail view
- Use the payment action or payment section
- Enter the payment details and save
- Review the updated balance and status
Good Practice
Keep the document totals and the registered payments aligned before exporting or sending the invoice to avoid confusion for the customer.
