Managing Payments

Payment handling is available from the invoice detail workflow after the invoice has been created.

What You Can Do

  • review the current payment status
  • register payments against the invoice
  • confirm how much remains outstanding
  • revisit the invoice later to check if it is fully paid

Typical Flow

  1. Open the invoice from Documents
  2. Go to the invoice detail view
  3. Use the payment action or payment section
  4. Enter the payment details and save
  5. Review the updated balance and status

Good Practice

Keep the document totals and the registered payments aligned before exporting or sending the invoice to avoid confusion for the customer.
